ACLEA Gold: Refining the Standard for CLE Programs & Publications represents a milestone in the history of our organization. As our membership grows and we purposefully reach out to CLE professionals across the world, this book will serve as a showcase for our knowledge base and the expertise we offer in service to the CLE profession through leadership, education, and development.

Long-time ACLEA members will recognize eleven of these papers as “winners” selected for publication in annual editions of the forerunner to this book, The Best of ACLEA 2000-2003. They are, in all respects, the “best of the best.” The twelfth paper, from the technology track at the Denver 2004 conference, was selected for publication here because it too represents the very best of what ACLEA has to offer.
