This committee evaluates submissions for ACLEA's "BEST" Awards in 5 categories: Best Marketing, Best Program, Best Publication, Best Use of Technology, and Public Interest. Members should have extensive experience in one of the above categories.

EXHIBITORS & SPONSORS COMMITTEE

This committee coordinates exhibitors and sponsors for ACLEA meetings. Members are responsible for maintaining past and developing new exhibitor and sponsor contacts and for securing underwriting for events and programs at ACLEA meetings.

INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE

This committee focuses on issues relating to continuing legal education in jurisdictions around the world and provides updates on current international CLE trends. This committee also coordinates with non-North American ACLEA members.

MANDATORY CLE COMMITTEE

The focus of this committee is mandatory CLE requirements in U.S. jurisdictions. The committee maintains a relationship with ORACLE, the association for MCLE regulators.

NEWSLETTER EDITORIAL COMMITTEE

The members of this committee actively identify topics and themes for ACLEA's newsletter, In the Loop, as well as potential authors.

PUBLIC INTEREST COMMITTEE

This committee supports efforts of ACLEA's members to increase lawyers' commitment to pro bono service. Among its activities, the committee sponsors workshops and gathers contact information to assist members in working with legal services and other public interest organizations to provide low-cost, relevant training that will permit volunteers to serve the needs of people and institutions who otherwise would have no access to the legal system.

PLANNING COMMITTEES FOR FUTURE ACLEA MEETINGS
