Change is afoot! Trends in the legal industry are changing at such a rapid pace it can make your head spin. So, no one should be surprised at the changes we are seeing in continuing legal education. Right? Want to be on the forefront of these movements? Join us for these Workshops in Chicago and learn how the winds of change are influencing continuing legal education!

Recent studies show that lawyer well-being needs our attention (and fast). On Sunday afternoon, Angela Moutoulas of the Ontario Bar Association and Orlando Da Silva of the Prosecution Division in Ontario discuss how to develop and deliver programming for lawyers, which aims to advance the conversation about mental health and personal wellbeing in the profession in Implementing Lawyer Well-Being — 8 step action plan for launching a well-being program.

Then, on Monday morning Jeanne Heaton and Tim Slating of ISBA tell us it’s not about managing a single learning resource anymore; it’s about understanding the benefits of multiple learning resources, providing those, and allowing the learner to choose in Building a Learning Ecosystem — Going Beyond the CLE Program and Developing a Learning Culture.

In fact, many learners seek out audio learning these days. And so, also on Monday morning, Nancy Munro of Verbal Transaction provides various tips, tricks, and techniques on how to streamline your podcasting production process in Podcasting is a Teaching and Training Tool

Finally, want some actionable takeaways for involving new lawyers? On Tuesday morning, hear participants in Chicago’s Justice Entrepreneur Project and the Solo & Small Practice Incubator talk about their real-world perspectives on serving up access to justice while practicing law using innovative new models in End User Experience — Hearing from New Lawyers Who Participated in an Incubator Program.

In the immortal words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” We hope to see you in Chicago for these Workshops, and many others, which promise to help you navigate the winds of change all around you.
