WEBINAR: MCLE Accreditation in the Time of COVID-19
Friday, May 1, 2020
WEBINAR | THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2020, 2-3PM CDT
Fees: Members-$29/Non-Members $79
Presenter: Gina Roers-Liemandt, Director of MCLE and Professional Development, American Bar Association
With the cancellation of all live in-person CLE events and the shift of many to online delivery formats, the creation of more Virtual Events, our own staff moving to a telecommuting workforce, and regulatory offices closed or working with reduced or remote staff, the question isn’t “what’s changed?” — the question is “what hasn’t changed?”!
Join Gina Roers-Liemandt, Director of MCLE and Professional Development for the American Bar Association as she discusses:
- How do you send mail? — shifting procedures in states with paper application and attendance reporting submission processes
- Paying the state — what happens when a check isn’t easy to come by?
- Repurposing content from your cancelled live meetings — was the in-person application done in vain?
- A whole new world — Virtual meetings and accreditation Attendance reporting for virtual meetings
- Is a free program free to accredit?
Gina will also try to address questions — please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org before the event and she’ll try to incorporate into the presentation, as well as leave some time for questions submitted live.
Thursday, May 7 | Time: 3:15 – 4:00pm CDT
After the webinar, ACLEA will be hosting a FREE LIVE VIRTUAL GET-TOGETHER! Join your colleagues for some fun and camaraderie. If we can’t get together in person, we can utilize technology to bring us closer “together” and still see our friends, and perhaps make some new. This Virtual Get-Together is being offered at no charge for ACLEA members and non-members alike.
Meeting details will be included in the confirmation email sent upon registration.
