As a presenter, Technology SIG member, and planning committee participant, John Day (1968-2004) contributed greatly to his fellow ACLEA members' understanding of how technology could be used to further the goals of CLE. To honor his service, ACLEA has renamed its highest award in the field as the John Day Memorial Award for Professional Excellence in Technology.
